Windsor Castle

Windsor Castle is one of the royal residences located in Berkshire. It’s an imposing castle, dominating the Windsor skyline and offering views across the county from its castle walls. Many royal events have taken place in St George’s chapel which is well worth a visit as it is filled with history and is the final resting place of many royals past and present, including Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth II.

I visited the castle with my parents, and I can’t recommend a visit highly enough. The building and rooms are so impressive, the views from the walls were breathtaking (and the cafe does a mean rocky road and a scone if you’re a cake fan).
