Crosby Beach is in Merseyside, and home to the Another Place installation by Sir Antony Gormley. The installation is made up of 100 male statues placed along 2 miles of the beach at various points, all statues looking out to sea.

The beach has a long promenade to walk along with gorgeous views over to the North Wales coastline. Along the walk there were numerous benches looking across the beach out to sea. Some of the benches, but by no means all of them are pictured below.

New Brighton, The Wirral

New Brighton is a seaside town located on the North Eastern tip of the Wirral Peninsula. The town has a history with pirates and smugglers and even boasts the New Brighton Pirate Festival.

The beach at New Brighton is so vast that from one area there are views across to the North Wales coast, yet around the corner the views are back to Liverpool, the skyline dominated by the Liver Buildings and the Albert Docks. The town also has has the New Brighton Lighthouse and Fort Perch Rock, built in the 1820’s to defend the port at Liverpool.

Similarly to Crosby Beach, New Brighton has more benches than I could take photographs of (I will try to get back there). The benches along the sea wall are all different colours, made from recycled material and were designed to bring a splash of colour to the sea front.
